La Casa Summer Food Program starts Tuesday, May 26

The La Casa Summer Food Service Program will begin serving meals in Portales on Tuesday, May 26th at various sites throughout the city of Portales.  It will be a drive-up, grab and go process and we ask that you be patient and work with us as your children will have to be in the vehicle with you the first time you visit one of our sites in order for them to receive their meal.  You will receive a card upon which we will write the number of eligible children that you will pick up meals for in the future.  Present that card when you pick up meals and we will distribute them to you without the children being present!
 
Breakfast and Lunch will be served together beginning at 9:30 am through 12:00 noon.  The distribution sites will be Lindsey-Steiner Elementary School, ENMU Football Stadium Parking Lot (west side), James Elementary School, Valencia Elementary School, Brown Early Childhood Learning Center, City Park (parking lot by the swimming pool), and Portales High School.
 
La Casa Family Health Center will not be used as a distribution center as originally advertised.
