    PUBLIC NOTICE:
    Water Conservation Required August 19-22:
    The City of Portales is currently renovating the City’s water storage tanks and we need your help August 19-22. On Monday 8/19/19, Tuesday 8/20/19, Wednesday 8/21/19, and Thursday 8/22/19, we will be interrupting the wellfield flow to allow the contractors to work. We do not expect any water outages; however, we need you to restrict your water use to essentials only during these days. Please do not water yards, wash vehicles, fill pools, wash driveways or parking lots, or perform other intensive water use activities during this time. We expect an additional time that we will need to ask for your continued help over the coming months to complete the project. This is an important project for you as a citizen of the community of Portales. We could not complete the project without your help. Thank you for your cooperation.
