    Portales’ Ultimate July 4th Celebration! This year, we’re bringing together the very best of Freedom Fest and Heritage Days for one unforgettable community celebration at Portales City Park. Parade starts at 10:00 am
    Join us as we blend tradition, hometown pride, and summertime fun into a single spectacular event.

    Enjoy a full day packed with local vendors, delicious food trucks, and family‑friendly games that capture the spirit of our community. Cheer on your favorites—or jump in yourself—during the Volleyball Tournament, and explore an impressive lineup of classic and custom rides at the Car & Motorcycle Show.

    As the sun sets, gather with friends and neighbors for the kind of hometown fireworks display that makes July 4th in Portales truly special.

    Location:
    Portales City Park - East 9th Street and Abilene. 
    Date/Time Information:
    Vendor set-up is July 3rd. from 10-5 and on July 4th. from 9-11am
    Vendors open at 11am. Event runs from 11-7 on the 4th. Tear down is at 7pm on the 4th. Fireworks will start right around 8:30 pm (dark).  
    All booths are approximately 10x10.
    Inside booths are limited.
